Range level Sports festival organises at Doda

JAMMU, Mar 22: Ramban defeated Doda in the Range Level Sport Festival in cricket tie played at Sport Stadium Doda . The Semifinal matches of Kabaddi and Tug of War were also played. In cricket, the toss was won by Ramban and they elected to bat first. Ramban team scored 80 runs in 13 overs all out, chasing the target, Doda team scored 63 runs in 12 overs and was defeated in the semi final match by 17 runs. Kabaddi match was played between Doda and Kishtwar, Doda teams won the Kabaddi match by 21 points whereas Tug of War was played between Ramban and Kishtwar, Kishtwar team won the match. Venkatpathi Raju in race for spin bowling coaching in Bangladesh

MUMBAI, Mar 22: India's former spinner Venkatapathy Raju is one of the contenders for the coaching role in Bangladesh. This was revealed by Nazmul Hasan Papon, the p[resident of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Speaking exclusively, he said, "we have shortlisted Raju and Sunil Joshi's names for the post of a spin bowling coach with our national team. In fact, we wanted any one of them on the current Sri Lanka tour but owing to their non-availability immediately, we could not sign any of these two". MUMBAI, Mar 21: It was not a "big deal" in officiating as an umpire in Pakistan, according to Ranmore Martinesz. The 50-year-old umpire from Sri Lanka was one of the umpires for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Pakistan earlier this month.
