Army pay tribute to 5 soldiers killed in Keran Sector

SRINAGAR, Apr 8: Army today paid rich tributes to five soldiers who were killed in a gunfight with militants along Line of Control in Keran Sector of North Kasmir’s Kupwara district.
General Commanding Officer, 15 Corps along with other officers paid glowing tributes to the deceased soldiers at Badamibagh Srinagar Army Headquarters, officials said.
The slain soldiers’ include Subedar Sanjeev Kumar of Himachal Pradesh, Haveldar Davendra Singh of Utarakhand, Para trooper Bal krishan of Himachal Pradesh, Para Trooper Amit Kumarof Utarakhand and Chhatrapal Singh of Rajasthan.
The mortal remains of these soldiers will be sent back to their respective areas.
