Welcome RTI on-line portal
ActIT Jammu, ASP.net Projects, Java, Vb.net, C# Training Jammu

Dear Editor,

It refers to welcome launch of RTI on-line portal for all ministries and departments of Union government where filing of RTI petitions and first appeals will be a quick electronic process without requiring expenses on postal-charges apart from several other notable features.

However this facility can only be availed by a selected few having facility to use credit/debit cards. Real remedy lies in extending facility of receipt of RTI petitions without spending on postal-expenses for all ministries, departments and other public-authorities coming under jurisdiction of Central Information Commission to all post-offices of the country while presently it is available in just about 5000 post-offices. This is practically not difficult because every post-office in the country however small it may be is attached to a big post-office where postal-bags with registered postal-articles, cash, unsold postal-stamps and postal-orders are daily sent. RTI petitions received by small post-offices can also be sent in this bag.

Considering lots of problems in payment of RTI fees and copying charges through postal-orders and high operational cost in handling postal-orders, attractive RTI stamps on line of revenue-stamps should be issued in different denominations as convenient and economical mode of payment of RTI fees and copying charges.
