| | Good job by Verma panel | | | Dear Editor, Justice Verma has done a good job without asking for extension of the tenure of the Committee headed by him. The committee's recommendations should be accepted and there should a special provision under the law to ensure that innocent people are not victimised by vested interests. The vested interests may include one's relatives over property disputes, doctors, disgruntled employees or officials and MLAs and MPs. They are the most vulnerable people to be harassed by vested interests. —Pranab Kumar |
