Cooperative minister takes stock of yatra arrangements

SRINAGAR, July 8: Minister of State for Cooperatives Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma today visited Pahalgam, Nunwan and Panjtirni camps established for annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra and took stock of the arrangements put in place there for the facilities of the pilgrims.
The Minister issued instructions to the officers accompanied him for maintaining close coordination with the agencies pressed in service for the Yatra period for making hustle free Yatra. He directed the concerned to monitor the supply position on daily basis and ensure that all essentials are made available in all the camps and along the route ensuring prices of eatables and other essentials.
Interacting with the pilgrims and service providers, he enquired about the facilities being provided to them in these base camps. The pilgrims appreciated Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and administration for the arrangements put in place for convenience of yatries.
The Minister was informed that adequate stock of essentials is made available, besides deployment of medicos and para-medicos with life saving drug in these camps.
