| | Place News Boards at appropriate places | | | Dear Editor, As becoming acquainted with the daily news has become a part a parcel of our life, measures have been taken by the media and the government to keep the public informed about the latest happenings. The latest in the list are the News Boards installed at various places in the city. It seems however, that the authorities have neglected the location aspect regarding the installation of these and have selected most obnoxious places in the city for the said purpose. Care should have been taken to install them at suitable place where the interest levels could be sustained on a longer basis. With the coming of the age of a small city like Jammu, issue like these should be put in proper perspective before launching any worthwhile scheme for the general populace. —Rajeev, Jammu. |
