J&K Muay team bring laurels

JAMMU, Jul 21: Six members of J&K State MuayThai team under Jammu and Kashmir Muaythai Association participated in 13th IFMA India MuayThai National Championship 2012 was held at Anna Stadium Cudlore, Tamil Nadu from July 7 to 9.
About 350 students from various 16 States participated in the Championship in which five players from the state of Jammu and Kashmir secured four silver and one bronze medal.
The medal winners included Akshit Ghai, Anil Kumar, Eshant Khajuria and Rahul Kumar and Rohit Pandita.
The Championship was organized by the Tamil Nadu Amateur Muaythai Association under the banner of MuayThai Federation of India.
