Ajay Warriors wins Jr Premier League

JAMMU, July 21: Ajay Warriors defeated Maharaja Hari Singh Club by six wickets to lift the Junior Premier League, organised by Junior Jammu Cricket Club at Government Polytechnic College ground, here.
Tournament was organised to create awareness about the ill effects of smoking among youth. In total, 64 teams participated in this competition which played on knock-out basis.
Assistant General Manager, Punjab National Bank, Harneek Singh was chief guest, who gave away winners and runners-up trophies. Ashwani Pradhan, Vikram Singh, Manoj, Seerat Fatima and Riaz Atish were guests of honour.
Later, vote of thanks was presented by Azmat and Ajaz Ahmed. Among others present included Sourav Butt, Rahul Sharma, Adil Raza, tahir Khan, Mohit Butt, Vishal Sharma, Mohd. Younis and Ajay Kotwal.
