55 candidates selected under J&K Yateem Foundations HESP-2012
SRINAGAR, Jul 22 (Agencies): On the basis of J&K Yateem Foundation’s 10th Annual Post Matric Higher Education Scholarship Programme HESP Entrance Examination- 2012, held on May 27, 2012, 55 candidates including 26 female students have been selected for the scholarship programme under HESP- 2012. The list shall be published in the local newspaper of July 23.
Around 300 candidates including 127 female candidates from 12 districts in J&K appeared in the J&K Yateem Foundation's 10th Annual Post Matric Higher Education Scholarship Programme HESP Entrance Examination -2012 at S.P. College, Srinagar on May 27,2012. Candidates from Srinagar, Budgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Jammu and Kargil had appeared in the examination.
Since 2002 , 478 scholarships including that of year 2012,  have been awarded under HESP by J&K Yateem Foundation incurring and expenditure of nearly 69 Lacs. Similarly, under another category titled HESP Professional started in 2004, J&K Yateem Foundation has awarded 18 scholarships @ Rs. 10,000/- per annum, for pursuing professional courses. Under this programme 14 candidates have completed professional courses with 05 in MBBS; 01 each in BVSc, BSc Nursing & MSC IT; 02 in BCA and 04 in B.Ed. Under HESP Professional an amount of Rs. 05.98 Lacs have been spent from 2004 to 2011.  The final selection list is also available at J&K Yateem Foundation's website www. jkyf.net
All the selected candidates may contact Central Office 'Bait-ul-Hilal' Jawhar Nagar for complete merit and other details. The candidates are also instructed to report at 'Bait-ul-Hilal' 42- A Al-Farooq Colony Jawahar Nagar Srinagar on 2nd September 2012 at 11:00 A.M Sharp.
