| | Bad condition of roads | | | Dear Editor,
A number of road stretches, for instance from Muthi to Bakshi Nagar are in a bad state owing to the years of negligence on the part of Jammu Municipal Department. The bumpy rides over these roads are quite nerve-shattering and the Buses and other vehicles plying on them find it tough to negotiate them. The condition of the passengers travelling in these vehicles becomes very bad and one only wishes that the ordeal ends as soon as possible.
The Municipal authorities of the city are requested to look into this matter and lessen thus, the hardships faced by the people. A regular survey should be included in the schedule to check the condition of the roads on a timely basis, especially those which are left half-done and even those which haven’t been repaired for a long time. This will surely help the roads becoming worth travelling.
