| | Seminar on ‘importance of fast in modern lifestyle’ | | | GANDERBAL, July 31: A seminar on “The Importance of Roza in Modern Lifestyle” was organized by the Debating Committee of the Government Degree College, Ganderbal in the Conference Hall.
The Principal of the College, Prof. Nasreen Malik presided over the Seminar while a large number of luminaries including Professors and college students actively participated in the Seminar.
On this occasion, Principal of the College, Prof. Nasreen Malik, Head Department of History, Prof. Abdul Majid Pandith and Prof. Rafiq Ahmad highlighted the importance of Roza in modern life style and encouraged the student community to participate in such functions.
About 30 students spoke on the topic. The first three positions of Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 were bagged by Shahzad Ahmad of Class B.A 2nd year, Ruqaya of Class B.A 3rd year and Shafiya of Class Ist year. Besides this two consolation prizes of Rs. 500 were also awarded. |
