Dr Mir takes over as Director AH deptt, Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Aug 3: The Chief Executive Officer, Livestock Board, Kashmir, Dr. Ghulam Rasool Mir takes over as the Director Animal Husbandry Kashmir on August 03, 2012 and was warmly welcomed by the officers of the of the department, field staff, mechanical staff, ministerial staff and class IV employees who had come from all the districts of the Valley.
Dr. Mir as the Director Animal Husbandry department, Kashmir coming with rich experience spanning over more than 30 years and with excellent administrative acumen will be able to lead the department to new heights.
The Director in his address to the veterinary fraternity urged upon them to rededicate themselves for the cause of the livestock owners and for the upliftment of the economy of the farmers and development of State. He also said that efforts and new initiatives started by his predecessor Dr. Farooq Ahmad Kaloo for the development of department will be taken to new heights.
The officers and officials of the department assured their full cooperation and support to the new Director for the development of the department and the profession.
