Shinde likely to visit J&K this week

NEW DELHI, Aug 6 Home Minister Sushilvkumar Shinde is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir later this week in order to review the security situation and preparedness in the state. Shinde is expected to be in the state on August 10 and 11 and would meet Governor N N Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and senior state government and security officials. The Home Minister is also expected to review a host of development schemes being implemented in the state.
