Fence crossing: Man held with fake permission

POONCH, Aug 7: A person was today apprehended by the police with the fake permission letter of SDM Mendhar Ranjet Singh to cross the fence.
Police said that a person Mohammed Khaliq, son of Mohammed Afsar, resident of Ramluta appeared in the office of SDM Mendhar and requested them to grant permission for crossing fence as he was living across fence. However the staff members of SDM Mendhar office said that they had not issued any permission letter.
Upon this, Khaliq produced a permission letter issued to Mohammed Imtiaz, son of Mohammed Bashir, resident of Mandi at present living at Ramluta.
When SDM Mendhar went through the permission letter it was found to be fake. Quickly reacting, SDM directed the police to arrest the suspected person.
Police apprehended the suspect and started investigating into the case.
