| | V’devi pilgrim dies of heart attack | | | JAMMU, Aug 9: A Vaishno Devi pilgrim died of heart attack enroute to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Reasi district.
Police said that Umesh Singh, 36, a resident of Kolkatta, suffered a heart attack last night enroute to the cave shrine at Banganga in Katra town.
Singh was shifted to Community Health Center (CHC) Katra where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
Inquest proceedings sunder section 174 CrPc has been initiated by the police. |
