PDP seeks support of people to establish a corruption free, transparent system

RS PURA, Jun 13: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) formally kicked start election campaign for the coming Assembly elections by organising meeting of the card holders of party at border town of RS Pura.
General Secretary of the party Yash Pal Sharma, MLC was chief guest in the meeting in which senior leaders of the party besides card holders of R S Pura Assembly segment.
Yash Pal Sharma, while addressing the meeting coined the slogan “Ab Ke Baar Mufti Sarkar” to get the people rid of present corrupt dispensation.
He assured the people that PDP would formulate a comprehensive plan for the development and uplfitment of the backward and border areas.
Seeking support of the people in general and youth in particular to throw out the present inept and corrupt system to bring positive change in the life of the commoners, Sharma termed National Conference-Congress coalition as worst ever corrupt government in the State.
“Rural areas remained neglected for decades together and it was only during the tenure of PDP led regime that various developmental projects were initiated”, he said and reminded the people that during PDP led regime residents of border areas were given special attention in the field of development.
He observed that the credibility of the present regime has reached at its lowest ebb because this dispensation has lost faith of the common masses due to misdeeds and rampant corruption. “There is total chaos and anarchy because the present regime has failed to bring transparency and accountability in the government”, he said and corruption has sneaked from top to bottom in the administration.
Former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa, former Minister Sardar Rangil Singh, Bhushan Dogra, Kuldeep Sharma, Chatter Saini, Capt Gour, Ajit Singh, Santokh Singh and others also spoke on the occasion.
