Omar meets Manmohan

JAMMU, Jul 8: The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday called on the former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and spent some quality time chatting with him.

Omar himself revealed this on the social networking site Twitter.

After a gap of over two long weeks, the Chief Minister this evening tweeted, “It was a pleasure to call on & spend some time talking to Dr Manmohan Singh. I will always be grateful for his support & advice."

Immediately after Omar tweeted he was greeted by his followers on the micro blogging website. Shazia Ilmi, former colleague of Arvind Kejriwal also responded to the Omar Abdullah tweet by saying, "Nice to know that Manmohan ji has started talking. Hope he had started some time back.."

Press Council of India chairperson Markandey Katju also joined the string and shared his view point by writing on the timeline, “Once I met Manmohan Singh & discussed some matter. He said "Justice Katju, I am not a free man". PM not free! That sums it up.”

One of the followers of Omar Abdullah wrote, “Really MMS can give advice, then why did we have NAC under Soniaji to advice him day in and day out ?"
