Raina's in-laws have invited villagers

MUMBAI, Apr 2: Raina's in-laws have invited villagers of Bamnauli village where the family used to live many years ago.
"Priyanka's was staying in our village and moved out of village some 20 years ago. Priyanka was very young then and we understand she had gone out of India for studies", Satish Thoimar, a farmer in Priyanka's village-Bamnauli said over telephone.
"We have been invited for the marriage but no invitation cards have been sent. We have been invited over telephone and some 18-20 people from our village will go there tomorrow morning to attend the reception".
"We have heard that very highly ministers are also attending. We are small people of this village and will be very happy to attend the function tomorrow", the famer added.
"The girl is from our village and therefore we are proud of her being married to an international cricketer", he signed off.
"Priyanka's father (Tejpal Singh) was a teacher when Priyanka was very young. The family moved to Meerut many years ago. Her father's have five more brothers and all stay out of this village-Bamnauli. No one from their family is in this village", Mahipal Singh, the father-in-law of Nisha Vikas, who is a pradhan (it is a term used for sarpanch in other parts of the country) of the village added. "We are proud to be having an international-famed cricketer as our son in law", he concluded.
