| | Despite their best, proper governance lacking | | | Dear Editor,
A number of schemes are underway in the State like always. Most of them will be implemented in full letter and spirit and others might have to see an abrupt closure. This can be said with conviction as the events have been unfolding in all their likeliness throughout these years and also now. It is a fact that the government despite its best intentions somehow seems to neglect envisioning the bigger picture. Not always so, but often that is the case.
So much has gone down the drain since the announcement of a number of schemes on umpteen times, but the results have been found askance. These facts need not be corroborated by any government official or Parties’ antagonistic to the causes upheld by those who govern, rather the masses are intelligent enough to understand. Take for instance, the water bodies’ conservation projects while colossal figures earmarked for the same have never reached their intended target. Issues like these and others have a dragging effect on the effective governance in the State.
