| | K….K…K… Kiran is now K….K…K… Kashmir for Shahrukh | | | Srinagar, Sep 06: Shahrukh Khan is so mesmerized with Kashmir that he is rephrasing his monologues that set him on the path of stardom. ‘K….K…K… Kiran’ is now ‘K….K…K… Kashmir’. Khan concluded his press conference held here Thursday rephrasing his monologue from Bollywood movie ‘Darr’. ‘I Love you K….K…K… Kashmir,” Khan signed off. Khan praised Kashmir for it’s beauty and friendly people. While packing his luggage, King Khan, as he is popularly known, would also carry along memories and tales from Kashmir. “I have never been so happy in 30 years,” Khan said. “I am happy within.” Just after his first visit to the Valley, Khan is in love with Kashmir. “I’m feeling blessed to be in the Valley,” he said. “I say it from the bottom of my heart that Kashmir will always remain in my heart.” Khan said the idea of leaving the Valley was making him sad. “I found love here everywhere,” he said. “Love is in air.” However, he said, he was taking tales of Kashmir along. The news conference was chaotic because of Khan’s fans who were masquerading as reporters. They grabbed mike and started asking all sort of questions creating chaos and confusion. As the situation started to turn ugly, Khan took it to himself to restore some order in the press conference. And he did it successfully using dialogues from some of his movies. The filmstar said that he always wanted to come to Kashmir with his late father. “My father would say whenever you go to Kashmir, take me along,” he said. “But I didn’t get an opportunity to do that.” Khan hoped that the shoot of his film in Kashmir will help to get more visitors to the valley. “When we shoot films in London or Switzerland, people see those places and want to go there. Since this film has been extensively shot in Kashmir, people will see it and want to come here," he said. Though Khan was forthcoming answering almost every question from the journalists and his fans, he refrained from directly answering questions about film making on Kashmir. “Story telling always depends upon story teller,” he said. “Some like to have aggression in their films and some prefer to present love and romance. Some like to have political and ideological aspects… Films are reflection of society and they reflect what is going on in the society”. Khan said his film in which he is playing the role of an army officer would be different. "You will love to watch it,” he said. The movie is scheduled for a Diwali release and it will get a name on Yash Chopra's 80th birthday on September 27. About lack of players from Jammu and Kashmir in the IPL, Khan said he belongs to small place in Delhi and reached to top position in Bollywood. “Whosoever has talent gets reorganization. Players from J&K will find place in IPL if they have talent,” he said. |
