DPN calls upon intellectuals to rethink youth policy

SRINAGAR, Sep 7: Democratic Party of Nationalist (DPN) today called upon intellectuals of Kashmir Valley to come forward to re-strategise the policy for youth in order to channelize their potential for peace, progress, prosperity and development.
A resolution to this effect was passed in a One-day Party convention of DPN of Srinagar district at the party Headquarter here this afternoon. “It has become inevitable for all of us to sit together to frame a dignified future destiny for the people of valley who suffered a lot during two decades long turmoil”, the resolution maintained.
The Convention was attended by Party President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Vice President, G.M Bhawan. General secretary’s, Farooq Jan, Nazir Dailgami, Youth President , Muzaffar Reshi, senior Leaders, s Shazadi Simon, Bashir Naz and hundreds of DPN workers across the district.
Speaking on the occasion, DPN president said that all the shades of opinion are accountable among the people and we all have to work above the party politics to bring the valley back on the path of peace, progress and prosperity. “He questioned to all the leaders who first launch a movement for Raii- Shumariand then others lunched the armed insurgency in 23 years for Azadi, what they achieved from it? He said that only we get backwardness in every sphere of life and nothing else”.
Mir said that now people of the state are fed up from this exploitation and wants peace, KHUSHALI everywhere in the state. “ Time is calling us to start a new journey for new a beginning and I appeal to all the stake holders to come forward for making a new future for the people of the valley”, Mir maintained.
Mir said, “my and my party’s Philosophy is to march the J&K towards economic independence and adding that “I am for the people of J&K and my heart always beats for the prosperity of people”.
He stressed for resource mobilisation of the state for achieving the goal and asked the youth to make their judicious contribution in this direction.
Calling upon the youth of the valley to put forth their suggestions for the economic development of the state, DPN president said that our party is open to accommodate those valuable suggestions in the party manifesto and added that we are ready to have threadbare discussions on the issues confronted to us.
