3 die, 27 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Sep 07: Two persons died and twenty-seven others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley on Friday.
Police said a TATA 407 passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK01F/4924 turned turtle near Hushroo, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Chadoora, resulting in injuries to twenty-five passengers. All the injured persons have been shifted to different hospitals of Budgam and Srinagar for treatment. Two of the injured succumbed to his injuries on way to SMHS, Srinagar.
In a road accident at Galander, Awantipora on 14.08.2012 in which 60 years Ghulam Hyder Rather son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Yachgam, Budgam was injured and was being treated in SKIMS, Soura, succumbed to his injures.
In another accident, a load carrier bearing registration number JK01H/4575 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Abdul Hadis, age 35 years, son of Mohammad Abdul Husain resident of West Bengal at present Lasjan near Pandrathan, Srinagar, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Panthachowk. The injured was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, an unidentified vehicle hit and seriously injured a pedestrian Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of New Colony at Ali Jan Road, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Safakadal. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
