Dinesh takes over as Chairman CCBL

JAMMU, Sep 20: Dinesh Gupta took over charge of the Chairman Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd. (CCBL) here today.
Earlier the newly elected Board of Directors of Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd. (CCBL) Jammu comprising of Dinesh Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Koushal Kumar Gupta, Parveen Sharma, Kailash Kumar Langer, Parshotam Singh Pawar, Charanjit Singh Raina, Varinder Singh and Karunesh Gupta elected Dinesh Gupta as Chairman and Deepak Gupta as Vice-Chairman of the Bank.
After taking over charge Dinesh Gupta expressed thanks on behalf of the Board to the share holders of the bank for reposing faith and confidence in his team and assured that the Board will come up to the expectations of the share holders. He placed on record his gratitude’s to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu for restoring democratic set up of governance in the bank in true spirits of Cooperative Laws and appreciated the role of Civil Administration viz; Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu for conducting free and fair elections.
He also thanked electronic and print media for honestly covering the elections. He assured the share holders, patrons and clients of the bank to extend them the best possible services and the first priority of his team will be to reduce NPAs to the requirements of the regulators standards .
He revealed that all the branches of the bank shall be computerized under Core Banking Solutions (CBS) before the end of current financial year and the customers shall be provided RTGS and NEFT facilities from the Counter of the bank.
In addition to it he assured that the bank will frame customer friendly policies and will provide facilities to meet genuine requirements of the clients.
