| | Youth falls from Tawi bridge, dies | | | JAMMU, Sep 22: Mystery shrouds death of a youth, who fell into Tawi from bridge and died at Government Medical College (GMC) hospital.
Police said that he fell from Tawi bridge near Bikram Chowk under the jurisdiction of Police Post Nehru Market couple of days ago. He was under the influence of liquor and the victim with serious wounds was shifted body to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital, Jammu.
His condition continued to deteriorate and he succumbed to his wounds, today.
The body was shifted to the mortuary for autopsy and identification.
Inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC has been initiated by the police. |
