Manik wins gold in Inter School Open Skating Competition

UDHAMPUR, Oct 15: 1st Inter School Open Skating Competition organized by Ek Aur Koshish, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in collaboration with District Sports Department was concluded here on last evening.

Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Ashok Kumar was the chief Guest while General Secretary, Rool Ball Association J&K, Madan Khajuria was the guest of honour on the occasion who distributed the prizes among the winners and runners up of the competition.

As many as 180 students of different schools were participated in Skating performance held in three different categories.

Manik and Swacha won a Gold Medal in 30m race category. Master Manik also clinched gold in 100m race category while Amanpreet and Tania won Gold Medal in the 200 m race category.

In 30m race category, Parteek and Suhana clinched Silver Medal while in 100m race category, Mannat and Piya won silver medal besides in 200m race category, Aditya and Vansh won silver medal.

Sourab, Anand, Ananiya, Gourav, Madhav, Tania, Aryan, Ashish and Rijul satisfied with bronze medals in different categories.

Among other, President Ek Aur Koshish, Parladh Singh Bandral, Vice President, Aftab, Event Manager, Supinder Kour, Instructor, Arun Dev Singh, Sunny, Surinder, Buadita, Ankush and large number of sports lover were present on the occasion.
