REASI, Oct 31: The two-day inter-block competitions under PYKKA of district Reasi organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), concluded at Zorawar Singh Stadium, here today.
Around 300 boys and girls drawn from four blocks of Arnas, Mahore, Pouni and Reasi participated in the disciplines of volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, wrestling, judo, athletics and badminton.
Block Reasi emerged as the overall champion in this competition while block Pouni remained second. Third place went to Arnas.
Earlier, the competition was declared open by Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi, Raghubir Singh while District Social Welfare Officer Reasi, Mohd Aslam and, District Treasury Officer, Arshad Khan were guests of honour.
These activities of rural sports held under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Reasi, Dr SS Chib.
