| | Hurriyat (M) to consult civil society prior to Pak visit | | | SRINAGAR, Nov 6: Hurriyat Conference (M) today decided to consult various sections of society in Kashmir prior to the visit of its delegation to Pakistan. The decision was taken during an Executive Council meeting of the faction here today. After the meeting a spokesman of Hurriyat (M) issued a statement. “To make talks with Pakistan meaningful and result oriented, the Hurriyat would talk to different shades of people including traders, intellectuals, lawyers, and civil society,” the spokesman said. He added that during Pakistan visit, the view point of Kashmiris will be presented significantly. The meeting of Hurriyat (M) executive members was convened by chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at Raj Bagh headquarters today. It was attended by Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi, Bilal Gani Lone, Moulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Moulana Abdullah Tari, Musadiq Adil and Abdul Rashid Untoo. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the ongoing situation in Kashmir and about the Hurriyat delegation’s visit to Pakistan. |
