| | Dena Bank distributes scholarship cheques | | | JAMMU, Nov 15: Dena Bank Chairperson and MD Nupur Mitra, today distributed scholarship cheques to Jammu and Kashmir students studying in Aryans Group of Colleges in various courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA etc on merit cum means basis.
According to a statement, Aryans Group of Colleges Chairman Dr. Anshu Kataria presided over by the function. He also informed that Yousra, Imtiaz got scholarship in B.Tech (Civil) 1st year, Minhaz in B.Tech (Civil) Leet, Waseem in MBA. The scholarship ranging between 50,000/- to 1 lakh per course has been in given in different courses including MBA, B.TECH, BBA, BCA etc, he added.
While distributing the scholarship cheques, Mitra encouraged and motivated the students to apply their mind only towards studies and leave their financial problems to the Dena Bank. In the process they would be able to get good results and bring name to their parents, institution and bank and will very soon be giving study loans to meritorious students selected at IIM/IIT at base rate of interest, she added.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kataria thanked Dena chairman for sparing valuable time by interacting with students of Aryans Group and handing over personally the scholarship cheques to some of the students.
Those who were present on the occasion included C S Meena, Regional Manager, Dena Bank, Balbir Singh, AGM, OP Jarora, AGM, Baljeet Singh, Senior Manager, B S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group and A P Jain, Director. |
