SRINAGAR, Nov 19: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik, today paid rich tributes to Aali kadal victims and also condemned the Israel’s military action over Palestine.

In a statement issued here he paid rich tributes to JKLF leader’s Sheikh Abdul Hamid, Mushtaq Ahmad lone, Advocate Jamil Chowdhry, Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmad Kuttay, Mustaq Ahmad khan and Ghulam Mohammad who were killed at the hands of forces at Aali kadal here on November 19, 1992.

Remembering close association of ‘Shaheed-I-Hurriyat’, Sheikh Abdul Hamid, with him, Malik said: “The governments and their statecrafts have turned tyrant and ruthless, and because of this attitude the world has also become more violent and unstable. People in Jammu Kashmir are a witness to this tyrant statecraft of India and lakhs of our men, women, children and elders lost their lives.”

He said the Israeli government, by killing small kids, elders, women and children with bombs and missiles, is proving its ruthlessness and inhumanity.

The world especially United States of America and the European Union, he said, was patronizing Israel “by its criminal silence.”

“Directly or indirectly giving Israel is given the license to kill humans in Palestine. Any human who looks into the photographs of the infants killed by the Israeli ‘terrorists’ cannot stop his tears,” he said, adding, “If the world…really wants peaceful and stable world, they (countries) will have to raise above their pity political considerations and stop the tyranny and state sponsored terrorism in Palestine, Kashmir, Burma and other places.”

The failure in doing so will threaten the existence of “our civilized world”, he said.

Meanwhile, a programme to commemorate the Aali kasal victims was held at Martyrs’ graveyard, Eid Gah. The JKLF leaders, friends and admirers participated in it.
