| | MAM College organizes workshop on soft skills | | | JAMMU, Nov 20 : Workshop on “Soft Skills” organized by the department of computer application today in collaboration with department of management studies Govt. MAM College, Jammu was started today.
HOD Computer Applications Prof. Sujat Khan formally welcomed Dr. Ramesh Chander Principal MAM College and Chief guest on the occasion, resource person Rina Shahi a trained soft skill trainer and other senior faculty members.
Prof. Khan said that these workshops not only develop confidence but a sense of leadership among the students as this workshop will cover different aspect of leadership qualities also.
Dr. Ramesh Chander impressed upon that communication skills and personality development are the important tools in the corporate sector. He appreciated the role of both the departments in organizing these kinds of activities and said that these interactive sessions will improve the confidence level of the students and make them aware that what they are going to face in the corporate sector. He assured the faculties that every possible support for the development of students will be provided in the future.
Resource Person, Rina Shahi highlighted the main aspects of the workshop and said that this workshop will incorporate among students the sense of team work and coordination to achieve their goals. She also cleared the doubts of the students regarding the topic. |
