| | J&K skaters shine in Intl competition | | | JAMMU, Nov 22: Three J&K skaters, who were part of Indian team , excelled in recently held 15th Asian Roller Skating Championship at Hefei city of China.
Two J&K skaters who were in Indian inline hockey team, Safandeep Singh (ex-student of JK public school n recently studying in B.com part-3 of SPMR College of commerce) and Jasmeet Singh a student of M.B.S college of Engineering . B tech. got the 5th position in the championship.
One skater was Jatin Sabarwal a student of Law School Of Jammu Unv. was a part of Quads team clinched silver medal thus bought laurels to the country and state.Jatin Was in the Indian team that won silver medal after a long time of 25 yrs.President j&k roller skating association G.S.Khurmi told.
Meanwhile,the association appreciated the efforts of the Hockey coach,P.P.Singh for producing the International stuff in state skating. |
