| | J&K State Kurash meet gets underway | | | JAMMU, Nov 22: The 2nd State Open Kurash Championship, organised by J&K Kurash Association, got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium here today.
Around 200 boys and girls drawn from different districts are participating in this two-day event. The competition is being held in nine different weight categories.
Prominent among those who were present at the inaugural function were Dr Sandeep Singh, Saurav Chowdhary, Dr Seema, Kunal Chib, Rohit Gupta and Rajat Sharma.

GIRLS: Under 12 yrs: 40 kg: Vidushi Dogra, Ist; Himanshu Saini, 2nd and Ragnee Gupta, 3rd. 35 kg: Sonalika Koul, Ist; Palak Sharma, 2nd and Shalvi Saini, 3rd. Under 15 yrs: Plus 40 kg: Shikha Bhau, Ist; Mehak Pandita, 2nd and Sanjana Manhas, 3rd. Below 40 kg: Aditi Sharma, Ist; Niharika Hans, 2nd and Bhumika Mahajan, 3rd. Below 17 yrs: Supriya Pandita, Ist; Sumati Singh, 2nd and Sugandhi and Jasmeet Kour, joint 3rd. Under 20 yrs: Below 63 kg: Poonam, Ist; Mehvish Marwaha, 2nd and Raksava Kousar, 3rd
BOYS: Under 12 yrs: Below 25 kg: Hitesh Pal, Ist; Naman Khadotra, 2nd; Aryaveer Singh and Achyut, joint 3rd. Under 10 yrs: 20 kg: Om Billoria, Ist; Radhav, 2nd and Divyansh Sharma, 3rd. |
