| | Non-banking finance company: Charge sheet against management | | | JAMMU, Nov 23: Crime Branch, Jammu today produced challan in the court of judge anti-corruption Jammu, against management of non-banking Finance Company, Swarn Bhumi Forest India Limited, for misappropriating of huge public money.
Official handout said that charge sheet was produced against management committee members including Kuldeep Kumar Panday son of AB Panday, his wife Seema Panday, Usha Kiran Chaturvedi wife of Arun Kumar Chaturvedi, Prem Prakash Chaturvedi son of Arun Kumar Chaturvedi all residents of House number 36 Bhogpur Pinjore Panchkulla, Haryana, Ashwani Koushak son of Naresh Chander Koushak of 102 Block-A, HMT Colony Pinjore Panchkulla, Haryana, KD Sharma son of Jagat Ram of Madanpur Panchkulla, Jyoti Prabha wife of AK Koushak of Bhogpur Pinjore, Rajiv Ranjan son of PN Uphadhay, Parveen Sharma son of Om Prakash Sharma and AB Panday son of Late Kidar Nath Panday all residents of Sector 7 Panchkulla, Haryana.
Handout added that on November 12, 2002, Payare Lal Pandita son of Sham Lal Pandita of 715 Migrant Camp Mishriwalla, Jammu had lodged a written complaint against management of Swarn Bhumi Forest India, Head Office Manimajra, Chandigarh. The complainant had alleged that he had deposited his money in Lakhs with the said finance company and the company had issued him post dated cheques as maturity value, but the cheques were dishonoured by the banks concerned on the dates of maturity.
From the evidence, oral as well as documentary, collected during investigation of the case, the accused persons were found to have committed the offences under section 420, 467 and 120-B RPC and have accordingly been challaned in the court of law with the prayer for judicial determination. The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed on December 27, 2012. |
