India, Pak trade fire in Poonch

POONCH, Oct 25: Pakistan once again violated ceasefire on Thursday afternoon and targetted the Indian army bases at Krishna Ghati sector and Khari Karmara district, in Poonch district along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to official sources, Indian army soldiers retaliated effectively to the attack. However there was no report of any casualty.
Pak violated ceasefire two days after an explosion was reported near an army base camp in Poonch town. All the educational institutions were shut down in the area, as it was later reported that Pakistan violated ceasefire.
Following the attack on October 23, SSP, Poonch, Rajiv Pandey had stated that a shell landed from across the border, causing damage to the shed. Because of the attack, there was fire and subsequent smoke in the region. He further stated that investigation was being carried near the explosion site and the army was trying to ascertain the nature of the blast.
