| | 1 die and 2 injured in road mishaps | | | SRINAGAR, Dec 3: A LP Truck bearing registration number JK02AQ/7032 rammed with an electric transformer on the National Highway near Jawbrara, Awantipora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Awantipora , resulting in on spot death of the conductor of the Truck, Bahar Ahmad son of Fareed Ahmad resident of Matra, Ramban.
The dead body is lying in Police Station Awantipora for further disposal. The driver of the truck fled away from the spot. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration numberJK09/2866 turned turtle on the National Highway near Floor mill Watiyan, Handwara, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara, resulting in injuries to two passengers Abdul Rashid Malik son of Ghulam Nabi Malik resident of Malikpora, Kupwara and Waseem Ahmad Khan son of Dawood Khan resident of Warnoo Lolab. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Handwara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. |
