| | Several join Congress in Chenab valley | | | JAMMU, Dec 5: A large number of workers of different parties of Chenab valley today joined the Congress party fold at a function held in presence of Congress senior leader and Inderwal MLA Ghulam Mohammad Saroori at his residence at Kishtwar. According to a statement, welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Saroori assured them to come up to their expectations, strengthening and motivating with his ideologies and continuing the developmental works and the welfare of the poor and downtrodden people, initiated by the Former Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. He further said that the doors of the party were always open for all those who believe in the programme and polices of the Indian National Congress and have faith in its leadership. He thanked Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Ghulam Nabi Azad for taking an initiative in the developmental works in all sectors in Jammu & Kashmir especially Inderwal Constituency. Meanwhile, the new aspirants assured all support to the Congress, apart from working for the betterment of the party with dedication. Those who joined the party fold included, Mushtaq Keen, Mohammad Sharief, Abdul Wahid, Gulzar Ahmed, Nissar Ahmed, Mehraj Ud Din, Abdul Azeez, Ghulam Mohammad, Nadeem Hussain, Salam Din, Mukhtiyaar Ahmed, Ishtyaq Hussain, Gulzar Ahmed, Zahoora Begum Malik and others. |
