Congress fails to provoke Prime Minister

Dear Editor,
It refers to speech of Prime Minister during motion of thanks to President in Lok Sabha on 25.06.2019. Narender Modi made it clear that he could not be provoked to act in haste on the matters which were to be decided by courts when he countered a Congress Parliamentarian who earlier challenged the central government for putting in jail family-members and relations of Nehru-Gandhi family if these were considered thieves by the Prime Minister. Narender Modi while referring to the provocative demand rightly replied that the government would not interfere in the matter which were to be decided by courts. He timely linked the issue with imposition of emergency on 25.06.1975 when court-decisions were overturned by imposition of emergency to retain power by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Congress was also remnded of its failure to honour Prime Ministers from Congress party who were not from Nehru-Gandhi family like PV Narsimharao and Dr Manmohansingh. Everyone knows that Bharast Ratna Pranab Mukerji despite being the most capable Prime Ministerial candidate, was not crowned on the post because party-owner Nehru-Gandhi family did not trust him to be a loyal to the great political family of India. Even Sardar Patel who was not given due respect by his own party, was honoured adequately by BJP.
