Private hospitals also ready to handle COVID-19 patients

NEW DELHI, Mar 6: All private hospitals in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) have revamped their isolation wards to handle the cases of the patients dropping in with the complaints of COVID-19 and immediately alert the government authorities.
Sources in the private Gangaram Hospital near Karol Bagh, a favorite of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her children Rahul and Priyanka for any ailment, said the private hospitals have the best facilities and personnel ever ready to deal with COVID-19 and as such they would be able to treat the patients themselves instead of rushing them to the government facilities.
The Government has already created the isolation facilities for testing and treatment of the suspects COVID-19 in all its top hospitals and the health centres in the national capital to rush every such patient to these hospitals with the help of the ambulances stationed there.
Delhi government has also revamped its hospitals and special training has been imparted to the doctors and the health assistants in all its Mohalla clinics to handle the COVID-19 cases efficiently.
It has already ordered shutdown of all primary schools in the capital, both government and private, up to March 31 as a precaution while making it clear that teachers have to attend the schools as there is no holiday for them.
The Delhi government has also ordered spraying of the insecticides while rushing the essential medicines to all its health centres.
